2024 Beast of the East
/Beast of the East is well-known as not only the most challenging tournament on our schedule but also one of the most difficult in the country. This tournament attracts nationally ranked wrestlers from all over, making the competition the toughest our athletes will face during the school season. Participating is a privilege, and scoring points and winning matches are significant achievements, with advancing to day two being an even greater accomplishment.
First, we want to extend our congratulations to our entire varsity lineup for showing up and giving their best against some of the toughest competitors. Proudly, our team landed 45th out of 189 teams at the tournament. With a predominantly young roster, West managed to secure several victories, and many of our wrestlers had to battle through preliminaries to reach the championship brackets. Win of loss, everyone gave it their all, leaving it all on the mat. A special shoutout goes to Shaefer Hoffman and Chase Sigle for making it to Day 2.
We are incredibly proud of all our wrestlers for their hard work and commitment to our Varsity lineup.
