Girls Wrestling Season Opener
/The West Girls Wrestling Team had a strong showing at the 4th Annual North Penn Invitational, which took place on December 14th, marking the season opener for the girls. Sarah Pearson had an impressive performance in the 136-pound weight class, securing four victories, including three by fall.
Sienna Landrum also made a notable impact in the 142-pound category, winning her first three matches by fall with a narrow 3-2 loss in the finals, rounding out a 2nd place finish.
Skylar Bohne, competed in her first wrestling tournament, holding up well against her opponents scoring points in both matches.
Overall, the team showed promising talent and determination, and they will be preparing for the Beast of the East Tournament at the University of Delaware, which is expected to be their toughest challenge of the season.
