Downingtown West JV showed impressive determination and skill at the 18th Annual North Penn JV Tournament, which brought together around 30 teams competing fiercely in a variety of brackets.

Among the standout performances were wrestlers Dom Wood and Patrick Markey, each advancing to the quarterfinals with commendable records of 4-2.

In the consolation rounds, the competition faced an early end due to inclement weather, cutting short consi-8 round 2 for Cole Harlan and Michael Landrum showed with records of 4-1 and 3-1, respectively, working hard and battling in matches!

Ian Moyers, Merhawey Williams, and Ani Schinchirimini also contributed to the team's efforts, each securing a record of 2-2. Their performance showcased their ability to compete at a this level.

Additionally, a number of athletes fought, earning tough wins in challenging brackets, and wrapping up the day with a 1-2 record: Zach Teich, Will Posner, Luca Capodanno, Landon Lofland, Josh Pate, Jackson Palacios, Ian Stewart, and Gabe Scalfaro.

We are proud of all of our wrestlers who spent the day on the mat wrestling and supporting the team! As the JV season approaches its conclusion one week from Monday, the focus now shifts to finishing strong. With dedication and effort, the team is encouraged to give their all in these final matches to cap off the season on a high note!
