In a showdown on February 5, 2025, Downingtown West concluded their league season with a hard-fought victory over Downingtown East, finishing the match with a score of 33 to 24.

The match kicked off at the 107-pound weight class, where Mason Sigle set the tone for the evening with a commanding tech fall over Mike James, bringing the team to an early lead of 5-0. Shaefer Hoffman followed suit at 114 pounds, securing a pin against Noah Fosmire just 1:38 into the match, extending the lead to 11-0.

Brayden Sigle continued the momentum at 127 pounds, delivering another quick pin over Valen Piff in a mere 41 seconds, pushing the score to 17-3. Chase Sigle showcased his skills at 133 pounds, winning by tech fall against Declan Jewell in 2:14, adding five points to the score and making it 22-3. Levi Richmond also claimed a tech fall victory at 139 pounds over Declan McDowell, increasing the lead to 27-3.

Downingtown East fought back, with Dom Wood winning by decision over Nick Romano at 172 pounds, and Ryder Harlan concluding the night with a decisive 7-0 decision against Shammah George in the heavyweight class, bringing the final score to 33-24.

This match highlighted the hard work and growth of the entire Downingtown West team throughout the season. Each wrestler demonstrated grit and determination, showcasing their skills and commitment on the mat not allowing Downingtown East to secure any falls, everyone fought for every point.
