This weekend, Downingtown West took to the mats in Reading for Exeter’s Blue and White duals, an opportunity for our Whippets to showcase their skills against tough competition. Our team showed incredible heart and determination in every match, and their effort was truly encouraging and great to watch.

We finished the day with a record of 2-3, highlighted by outstanding performances from Shaefer Hoffman, Brayden Sigle, and Levi Richmond, who all went an impressive 5-0! Chase Sigle also had a strong showing with a 4-1 record, while Mason Sigle, Connor Schwanke, and Merhawy Williams each contributed with a 3-2 record.

It was also great to see many of our JV wrestlers stepping up and getting valuable experience on the mat. We're incredibly proud of every member of our team for leaving it all out there.

This is just the beginning! Let’s carry the momentum into our match against West Chester Henderson this Wednesday!
